This antique wooden cutting board was once part of a working kitchen in the French countryside – the kind where bread was sliced in the morning, herbs gathered from the garden were chopped for lunch, and meals stretched long into the evening around a wooden table. Over time, the surface softened from years of use. The wood carries the warm patina only time can create – subtle knife marks, gentle wear, and the deep honeyed tones that come from decades of hands, meals, and memory.
