How do I shop?
Each piece in the Maison Reverie collection is one-of-a-kind and available in limited quantities. Once an item is sold, it is unlikely to return. We recommend browsing the collection and purchasing pieces that speak to you when they become available. New finds are released in small, carefully curated drops throughout the year. For early access to new arrivals, we encourage joining the Collector’s List.
Are your pieces authentic antiques?
Yes. Each antique is thoughtfully sourced from markets and ateliers across Europe. We carefully select pieces for their craftsmanship, character, and enduring beauty. Because these objects have lived many lives, natural signs of age and wear are expected and celebrated as part of their history.
What condition are the pieces in?
All items are antique or vintage and may show signs of age, including patina, surface wear, or minor imperfections. We believe this character is part of their beauty. We do our best to photograph and describe each piece accurately. Any notable condition details will always be included in the product description.
When will my order ship?
Orders are typically shipped within 3-5 business days (excluding holidays). Each item is carefully wrapped and packed by hand to ensure it arrives safely in your home. Larger or specialty items may require additional coordination. Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information via email.
Do you accept returns?
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of antique and vintage pieces, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges at this time. We encourage reviewing measurements, condition notes, and photos carefully before purchasing. If you have any questions about a piece before ordering, we’re more than happy to help.
What do I do if my order arrives broken?
While every order is packed with intention and great care, we understand that accidents during transit can occasionally occur. If your order arrives visibly broken or damaged from shipping, please contact us at hello@maisonreverie.com within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of: the damaged item, box, all packaging, and shipping label. We will review the situation and work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship nationwide excluding HI, AK, PR, GU. We hope to extend our shipping services globally in the future.
How do I care for antique ceramics or wood pieces?
We recommend gentle hand cleaning only with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or prolonged moisture exposure. Care recommendations will be included in the product description when relevant.
Can you help me style a piece in my home?
We are always happy to help you find the right fit. If you would like guidance on where or how to place a piece, feel free to reach out with photos of your space and the piece you’re considering.
How often do new pieces become available?
New pieces are released periodically throughout the year in small collections. Joining the Collector’s List is the best way to receive early access to new arrivals.
How do I know if a piece will fit in my space?
Dimensions are listed in every product description to help you determine if a piece is right for your home. We recommend measuring your space or using painter’s tape to outline the dimensions on a surface or wall before purchasing. If you need additional guidance, feel free to reach out - we’re always happy to help.
Will the piece look exactly like the photos?
We photograph each piece as accurately as possible using natural light to capture its true color, texture, and character. Because many of our items are antique, vintage, or handmade, subtle variations in tone, patina, and wear are part of their beauty and uniqueness.
Are the pieces decorative or functional?
Many of our pieces were originally created for everyday use and may still be used in the home. However, due to their age and history, some items are best enjoyed as decorative objects.
Where are your pieces sourced from?
Pieces are thoughtfully gathered from markets and ateliers across Europe, often from regions such as France, Italy, and surrounding areas known for their craftsmanship and history. Each object is selected for its character, material quality, and timeless design.
What qualifies as an antique or vintage item?
An antique is considered an object that is at least 100 years old, reflecting the craftsmanship and design of a particular era. Vintage items are 20-99 years old and offer their own sense of history and character. At Maison Reverie, we source both antique and vintage pieces, selecting each object for its material quality, patina, and enduring beauty.
